One of the more morally ambiguous members of the Major Arcana and Emperor over the Grand Hell which connects all infernal realms together, Snizzi is an imposing, dangerous...okay, he's only 3 feet tall. But what did you expect? He's an imp, for Pete's sake.

Pete. Good choice of words, actually. St. Peter waits at the Golden Gate, and Snizzi acts just the same for those who died and lived to the standards of bad rather than good. He gets a certain kick out of grinning toothily at the newcomers and makes a tally mark every time an unusual being comes down to Hell, such as a formerly angelic being, an animal, or even a kid.

Despite this, he really is only ACTING like an asshole, he isn't really one deep down. He has a deep appreciation for love due to him given life by Nick's sacrificed elemental power, which he inherited and now controls completely, having absolutely mastered it. Therefore, he refers to Nick as his "best beloved" and his concern for Nick borders on obsession, as does his compassion for Green, the High Priestess. In fact, he's actually rather jealous of anybody who gets very close to them.

Snizzi doesn't usually like his job too much because although he has utter control over reality down in Hell, everybody is usually very depressed and bemoaning their fate. BORING! He's aware that Hell could be BEARABLE if it's inhabitants bothered to actually give a damn about each other and worked together to perk it up, but knows they never will...if they DID have any chance of compassion, they wouldn't be damned, would they? Also, there's a ridiculous amount of paperwork to be endured.

Hey, nobody likes paperwork. NOBODY.
