The Scion and the Soul Collector

Tara Kovsky has no father anymore, and her mother might as well be dead because of how much of a deadbeat she is. Now forced to grow up, she must rely on a new mentor figure to teach her right from wrong. The problem is he's a demonic sorcerer who steals people's souls.

Despite this, Demongo the Soul Collector has begun to become quite fond and protective of Tara. With each new soul he gains, he grows stronger, and his purpose seems to become clearer. Will Tara become a force of good? Will she succumb to dark forces after all? Or something else even entirely?

Who knows! But I do know Demongo is, like...f--kin' awesome. I seriously adore his design and I love writing for him.

And for those who might have realized it...yes, Tara's name IS an "easter egg".
